To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Education and Language Arts department under Faculty of Education, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
Economics, Geography / Physics, Government, Home Economics, History,
Arabic, Social Studies, Fine Arts, Music and Literature in English.

3. Islamic Studies
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Islamic Studies department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
Islamic Studies or Arabic and
any three (3) relevant subjects.
4. History
To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the History department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
Any other two (2) relevant Social Sciences or Arts subjects.
5. English Language
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the English Language department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
Literature in English, and
any other three (3) Arts/Social Science subjects.
