O’Level Requirements
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Education and Yoruba department under Faculty of Education.
Including three (3) other subjects
JAMB Subject Combination
Including two (2) other subjects (History, Literature in English, French, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Arabic, Geography, and Physics)

1. English Language
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the English Language department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
Literature in English, and
any other three (3) Arts/Social Science subjects.
2. Islamic Studies
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Islamic Studies department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
Islamic Studies or Arabic and
any three (3) relevant subjects.
3. Arabic Studies
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Arabic Studies department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
three (3) other relevant subjects.
4. History
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the History department.
Any other two (2) relevant Social Sciences or Arts subjects.
