O’Level Requirements
To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Hospitality Management department under Faculty of Social Sciences, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
Biology/Agricultural Science,
and any one (1) of the following:
Geography, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Physics,
Technical Drawing, Nigerian Language and Home Economics.
JAMB Subject Combination
Biology/Agricultural Science,
Mathematics and Economics.

The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Hospitality Management cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from SSU Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:

Other SSU Social Science Courses with their Requirements
1. Political Science
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Political Science department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
at least a pass in Mathematics, and
three (3) other subjects.
2. Economics
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Economics department.
any two (2) of Arts or Social Science subjects.
3. Educational Management
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Educational Management department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
Level NTC/NBC credit passes, or
Level pass in Mathematics, and
any other relevant subject.
4. Sociology
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Sociology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
four (4) other Social Sciences/Arts subject.
5. Guidance and Counselling
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Guidance and Counselling department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics, and
any three other relevant subjects.
