O’Level Requirements
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Linguistics department under Faculty of Arts and Humanities, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
any four (4) relevant subjects.
JAMB Subject Combination
any relevant Language subject, and
two (2) other relevant subjects.

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the English Language department.

2. Islamic Studies
To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Islamic Studies department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
Islamic Studies or Arabic and
any three (3) relevant subjects.
3. History
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the History department.
Any other two (2) relevant Social Sciences or Arts subjects.
4. Arabic Studies
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Arabic Studies department.
