To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Mechanical Engineering Technology department under Faculty of Engineering / Technology, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.), Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography and Economics/Commerce
For Marine Engineering and Industrial Safety & Environmental Engineering a pass in Biology is required.

The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Mechanical Engineering Technology cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from SSU Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:
