To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Political Science and International Studies department under Faculty of Social Sciences, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
Government or History and
at least a pass in Mathematics and
any other two (2) relevant subjects.

1. Educational Management
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Educational Management department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
Level NTC/NBC credit passes, or
Level pass in Mathematics, and
any other relevant subject.
2. Sociology
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Sociology department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
four (4) other Social Sciences/Arts subject.
3. Guidance and Counselling
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Guidance and Counselling department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics, and
any three other relevant subjects.
4. Political Science
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Political Science department.
