To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Quantity Surveying (QS) department under Faculty of Built Environment, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
any of Fine Art, Geography or Wood Work, Biology, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further. Mathematics, Introduction to Building Construction, Bricklaying / Block laying, Concreting, Wall, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Joinery, Carpentary, Decorative Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing, Ceramics, Graphics Design, Graphic Printing, Basic Electricity.

SSU Quantity Surveying (QS) Suggested Cut-Off Mark if Offered
The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Quantity Surveying (QS) cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from SSU Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Geography department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

3. Education and Computer Science
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Education and Computer Science department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
three (3) other relevant Science subjects.
4. Education and Mathematics
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Education and Mathematics department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
one (1) other Science subject, and
any other relevant subjects.
5. Physics
To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Physics department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
Chemistry, Mathematics and
any other Science subject from
Biology / Agricultural Science.
6. Education and Chemistry
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Education and Chemistry department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
Biology and Agricultural Science.
7. Microbiology
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Microbiology department.
