O’Level Requirements
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Social Justice department under Faculty of Social Sciences, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
at least a pass in Mathematics, and
any other (3) other relevant subjects.
JAMB Subject Combination
any other two (2) from the following: Economics, Geography, History, Accounting, and Commerce.

Other SSU Social Science Courses with their Requirements
1. Educational Management
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Educational Management department.
Level NTC/NBC credit passes, or
Level pass in Mathematics, and
any other relevant subject.
2. Sociology
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Sociology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
four (4) other Social Sciences/Arts subject.
3. Economics
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Economics department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
any two (2) of Arts or Social Science subjects.
4. Guidance and Counselling
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Guidance and Counselling department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics, and
any three other relevant subjects.
5. Political Science
To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Political Science department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
at least a pass in Mathematics, and
three (3) other subjects.
