Admission Requirements for German When Accredited in Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED)


O’Level Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the German department under Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Creative Arts department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:


  • English Language and


  • Fine Arts.


  • For holders of NTC, the relevant subjects could be


  • General Wood work, Building / Engineering Drawing, Introduction to Building Construction, Decorative Painting, Spray Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing,


  • Printing Origination, Machine Printing and Finishing, General Metal Work, Basic Electricity, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing, Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing, Graphic Design, Graphic Printing and Ceramics.



2. Islamic Studies


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Islamic Studies department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language,


  • Islamic Studies or Arabic and


  • any three (3) relevant subjects.



3. Education and Christian Religious Studies


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Education and Christian Religious Studies department.
