O’Level Requirements
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Development Studies department under Faculty of Social Sciences.

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Sociology department.
four (4) other Social Sciences/Arts subject.
4. Business Education
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Business Education department.
Economics, and two (2) other subjects in the Social Sciences or Arts.
For NBC, the other subjects could be from any of the following:
Commerce, Office Practice, Principles of Accounts,
Secretarial Duties, Typewriting and Shorthand.
5. Accountancy / Accounting
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Accountancy / Accounting department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
Economics and any other two (2) relevant subjects.
For NBC holders, the other two (2) relevant subjects could be from any of
Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Office Practice and Secretarial Duties.
6. Agric-Economics and Extension
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Agric-Economics and Extension department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
Biology / Agricultural Science
and one from Geography, Physics and Economics.
