To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Food Technology department under Faculty of Science, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

any two of the following:
Geography, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Technical Drawing, Physics, Chemistry, Nigerian Language and Home Economics.
