Admission Requirements for Adult and Continuing Education When Accredited in University of Africa, Bayelsa State (UAT)


O’Level Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Adult and Continuing Education department under Faculty of Education, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics and


  • any three (3) of


  • Literature in English, History, French, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Geography / Physics, Economics and Government.


  • For TC II with pass in English Language and


  • four (4) other subjects.


JAMB Subject Combination


  • Use of English,


  • Government / History,


  • one (1) Social Science subject and


  • any other subject.


UAT Cut-Off Mark for Adult and Continuing Education


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Adult and Continuing Education cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from UAT Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Theatre Arts department.

To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Mass Communication (MC) department.
