To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Mass Communication (MC) department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:

  • any four (4) other subjects in Arts or Social Sciences.



2. Hotel Management and Tourism


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Hotel Management and Tourism department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language,


  • Geography and


  • any three (3) from Arts or Social Science subjects with O Level pass in Mathematics.



3. History and International Studies


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the History and International Studies department.



4. Theatre Arts


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Theatre Arts department.



5. English Language


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the English Language department.



6. Linguistics and Nigerian Languages
