  • a Nigerian Language preferably Edo.


  • At least a pass in Mathematics is optional.

Adult Education / English Literature


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Adult Education / English Literature department.


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics and


  • any three (3) relevant subjects from:


  • Literature in English, History, French, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Christian Religious Studies,


  • Islamic Studies, Geography / Physics, Economics and Government or TC II with pass in English Language and four (4) other subjects.

To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Education and English Language Literature department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:


  • English Language,


  • Literature in English and
