O’Level Requirements
To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Business Administration and Management (BAM) department under Faculty of Administration, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
English Language (not Literature in English)
Any three subjects from the following: Economics / Commerce, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Geography, Office Practice, Biology / Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, History / Government, Typewriting, and Shorthand
JAMB Subject Combination
Any two (2) subjects from the following: Geography, Commerce, Government, Principles of Accounts, and Economics
UNICAL Cut-Off Mark for Business Administration and Management (BAM)
The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Business Administration and Management (BAM) cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from UNICAL Officials. 1. Marketing (MKT)
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Marketing (MKT) department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
any three (3) relevant subjects.
2. Economics
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Economics department.
any two (2) of Arts or Social Science subjects.
3. Guidance and Counselling
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Guidance and Counselling department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics, and
any three other relevant subjects.
4. Agric-Economics and Extension
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Agric-Economics and Extension department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
Biology / Agricultural Science
and one from Geography, Physics and Economics.
5. Business Education
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Business Education department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
Economics, and two (2) other subjects in the Social Sciences or Arts.
For NBC, the other subjects could be from any of the following:
Commerce, Office Practice, Principles of Accounts,
Secretarial Duties, Typewriting and Shorthand.
6. Education and Political Science
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Education and Political Science department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
Government / History, and
