Admission Requirements for Fine Arts When Accredited in University of Calabar (UNICAL)


O’Level Requirements


To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Fine Arts department under Faculty of Arts and Humanities, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:


  • English Language,


  • Fine Art,


  • Mathematics, Chemistry,


  • and any one from:


  • Finishing, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Graphic Printing, Decorative Painting, Spray Painting,


  • Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing, Building / Engineering Drawing, General Wood Work.


JAMB Subject Combination


  • Use of English,


  • Chemistry,


  • Mathematics and


  • Fine Arts / Physics.


UNICAL Cut-Off Mark for Fine Arts


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Fine Arts cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from UNICAL Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:
