To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Guidance and Counselling department.

2. Education and Social Studies
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Education and Social Studies department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
two (2) Arts /Social Science subjects.
3. Accountancy / Accounting
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Accountancy / Accounting department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
Economics and any other two (2) relevant subjects.
For NBC holders, the other two (2) relevant subjects could be from any of
Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Office Practice and Secretarial Duties.
4. Business Management / Management Science
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Business Management / Management Science department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
two (2) other relevant subjects.
5. Marketing (MKT)
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Marketing (MKT) department.
