Is Business Education Offered in University of Ibadan (UI)?

Admission Requirements for Business Education When Accredited in University of Ibadan (UI)


O’Level Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Business Education department under Faculty of Education, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics,


  • Economics, and two (2) other subjects in the Social Sciences or Arts.


  • For NBC, the other subjects could be from any of the following:


  • Commerce, Office Practice, Principles of Accounts,


  • Secretarial Duties, Typewriting and Shorthand.


JAMB Subject Combination


  • Use of English,


  • Mathematics,


  • Economics, and


  • any one (1) of


  • Literature in English, History, Physics,


  • Government, Geography, Chemistry, and Physics.


UI Cut-Off Mark for Business Education


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Business Education cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from UI Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:


  • Aim for 180+ score.


  • Perform well in Post-UTME screening.
