To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Home Science and Management department under Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • at least ‘O’ Level pass in English Language and Physics

  • General Wood Work, Building / Engineering Drawing, Furniture Design and Construction, Upholstery Design and Construction, Spinning,


  • General Metal Work, Spray Painting and Period Furniture, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing, Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing and Basic Electricity.

  • Use of English,


  • Chemistry,


  • Biology or Agriculture and


  • Mathematics or Physics.


UNIMED Cut-Off Mark for Home Science and Management
