O’Level Requirements
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Archaeology department under Faculty of Arts and Humanities, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
any one from the following subjects, Religious Studies, Geography, Economics and History.
JAMB Subject Combination
any two (2) subjects from
Arts, Social Sciences and

1. Fine and Industrial Arts
To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Fine and Industrial Arts department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:
two (2) other from social science subject.
For NTC the other two (2) relevant subjects could be from any of the following:
Spray Painting, Lining, Sign and Design;
Wall Handling, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing;
Graphic Painting; Ceramics; Basic Electricity; Building / Engineering / Environmental / Technology Drawing.
2. Linguistics
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Linguistics department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
any four (4) relevant subjects.
3. Education and Music
To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Education and Music department.

4. Mass Communication (MC)
To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Mass Communication (MC) department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:
