Admission Requirements for Creative Arts When Accredited in University of Uyo (UNIUYO)


O’Level Requirements


To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Creative Arts department under Faculty of Arts and Humanities, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:


  • English Language and


  • Fine Arts.


  • For holders of NTC, the relevant subjects could be


  • General Wood work, Building / Engineering Drawing, Introduction to Building Construction, Decorative Painting, Spray Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing,


  • Printing Origination, Machine Printing and Finishing, General Metal Work, Basic Electricity, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing, Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing, Graphic Design, Graphic Printing and Ceramics.


JAMB Subject Combination


  • English language,


  • Fine Arts and


  • two (2) other Arts subjects or Social Science subjects.


UNIUYO Cut-Off Mark for Creative Arts


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Creative Arts cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from UNIUYO Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Pre-Primary and Primary Education department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
