Admission Requirements for Industrial Design When Accredited in University of Uyo (UNIUYO)


O’Level Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Industrial Design department under Faculty of Engineering / Technology, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language,


  • Fine Art,


  • Mathematics,


  • Chemistry and


  • any one (1) from: Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing, Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Graphic Printing, Decorative Painting, Spray Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing / Matching and Glazing, Building / Engineering Drawing and General Wood Work.


JAMB Subject Combination


  • Use of English,


  • Chemistry,


  • Mathematics and


  • Fine Arts / Physics.


UNIUYO Cut-Off Mark for Industrial Design


The general UTME cut-off mark is 180, but due to the variation of Industrial Design cut-off mark depending on the admission year and competition level, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from UNIUYO Officials. However, to improve your admission chances:


  • Aim for 180+ score.
