To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Mechanical Engineering Technology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:

  • Physics, Chemistry and


  • any one subject from:

Building Technology (BT)


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Building Technology (BT) department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:


  • Mathematics,


  • English Language,


  • Physics, Chemistry and


  • any one of


  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.


  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be; Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.



Quantity Surveying (QS)

To study this course, the minimum requirement for applicants seeking admission to the Quantity Surveying (QS) department, is five (5) credits (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following:
