  • Biology / Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics / Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Further Mathematics, Food and Nutrition and Geography.


  • At least passes in Chemistry, Biology / Agricultural Science / Food and Nutrition.



Statistics


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Statistics department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics,


  • Physics,


  • Chemistry and


  • any other relevant subject.



Chemical Engineering Technology


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Chemical Engineering Technology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language,


  • Mathematics,


  • Physics, Chemistry and


  • any other subject from:


  • Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Tech.), Further Mathematics, Geography and Economics / Commerce.


  • For Marine Engineering and Industrial Safety & Environmental Engineering a pass in Biology is required.



Building Technology (BT)


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, a minimum of five (5) credit passes (C5 and higher) in their SSCE subjects, including the following, are required for applicants to the Building Technology (BT) department.


  • Mathematics,


  • English Language,


  • Physics, Chemistry and


  • any one of


  • Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing.


  • For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be; Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building / Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.



Production Technology


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates seeking admission into the Production Technology department, must have at least five (5) credits (C5 and more) in their SSCE disciplines, including the following:


  • Biology/Agricultural Science,


  • Mathematics, Chemistry,


  • English Language and


  • any other relevant subject from the following:


  • Geography,


  • Economics,


  • Food and Nutrition,


  • Technical Drawing, Physics,


  • Nigerian Language, Home Economics.



Food Technology


SSCE Requirements


To study this course, candidates aspiring to gain admission into Food Technology department, should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in their SSCE subjects including:


  • English Language,


  • Biology / Agricultural Science,


  • Mathematics and


  • any two of the following:


  • Geography, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Technical Drawing, Physics, Chemistry, Nigerian Language and Home Economics.


  • At least a pass in Chemistry is required.
