Installation of Doors, Window and Burglary Proof to Workshop

CHAPTER ONE

1.0 Introduction
Doors, windows and burglary proof are very important to our various homes. However, the most common threat to our home is burglary according to the police, a burglary occurs somewhere in the united states every 15.4 seconds by definition, the crime of burglary is a non confrontational property.

The majority of homes and apartments burglaries are doing during the day time when most people are away at work or school. The summer month of July and August have the most Burglaries with February having fewest crimes. Burglaries are constructed through the help of household tools, this includes;
Screw Drivers
Pliers
Channel Lock
Hence, doors (Wooden) construction can be achieved by coupling or assembling a plane wood, bolten and nails. Therefore a wooden door is a constructive furniture made from hard wood which is used in building offices, churches, classrooms and warehouses for different security reasons.
Doors have several methods of construction. This project is dealing with construction of doors constructed with the following tools and equipment in order to achieve a better result.this include:
Saw
Clamp
T square
Nails
Screw Etc
These tools form the primary instrument for the construction of door.
The various constructions method of construction will be vividly discussed in the subsequent topics. Also inclusive are the ways of maintaining doors, windows and burglary proof as well as safety measures taken at the workshop during the period of work.

1.1 Background Of Study
In the course of carrying out the project, some difficulties were encountered which include, financial difficulties and most of the materials to be used for the installations delay in providing materials (Tools). Power failure that delay the welding of burglary proof.

1.2 Aims And Objectives Of Study
The aim and objectives of this project is to know the working principle involved in the construction of a door, window and burglary proof so as to make the production look interesting and very lucrative to the manufacturer and user at large.

1.3 Scope Of Study
The scope of this project is based on the various factors involved in making of doors, windows and burglary proof. This factor includes length of height and width of each of the components of the members of the doors, windows and burglary proof. It also covers maintenance measures of the door and also various precautions taken during construction in as to ensure the good condition of the door, window and burglary proof everyday.

1.4 Significance Of Study
This project is very useful in solving problems involved in installation of doors, windows and burglary proof. It is useful to engineers while on construction site after going through the construction procedure and developments, one can have the knowledge of how the installation of doors, windows and burglary proof is been constructed. Also it will be of economic benefit to the researcher upon graduation to embark on mass production of the work.

CHAPTER TWO

2.0 Literature Review
