The study examines the aesthetics in the invocations rendered during the festival. Through this the importance of Arugba in Osun Osogbo festival will be fore-grounded. The Arugba is the most glamorous and important aspect of the festival. A young virgin princess is traditionally scheduled to carry the calabash from the palace to the shrine in Osun groove. Arugba is always chosen by the ifa priest through divination. The motivation that prompts the execution of the research work is that, problems found in the existing research work is that the cost of transportation fare can be astronomical, between the Osun Osogbo festival wristband, accommodations, VIP access, clothes and possibly a flight, things can add up. If the Osun Osogbo festival is in a different country it may add stress and anxiety to your first few days. These work will also look at the way the people of Osogbo react to this festival despites the numerous of Africans that identify themselves as either Christianity or Islam, and ancients beliefs still have its plaxe in their lives. The research design used in this report is descriptive design, utilizing questionnaire method to obtain information from the respondents for this project. Primary data were collected from the primary source which questionnaire was used as an instrument of data collection while secondary data were sources from textbooks, journals, newspapers and the internet were employed. The research methodology of this work is based on analysis of data and interviews which are gathered and showing relevant places of pictures taken during the festival of relevant places and people. The data gathered and analyzed which includes different people, both men and woman, old and young, who come for the festival and participates in the Osun festival whole heartedly.
