O’Level Requirement
According to Our research, tertiary institution aspirants should at least obtain five (5) credit (C5 and above) passes in SSCE subjects including;
Physics,
English Language
Chemistry, and
any two (2) other relevant Science subjects.

Post UTME Requirement
Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) cut off mark for Mechanical Engineering must be obtained. The general UTME cut-off mark is 180 (For Medical Students, 220 and above is recommended), but due to the variation of the departmental cut-off mark, we suggest you enquire about the recent JAMB UTME cut-off mark from PAU Officials.
Mechanical Engineering Procedure for Calculating Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)
University C.G.P.A. Calculation Steps:
Get the Grade Point (GP) of your of each semester sessions.
Grade Variables and Equivalent Values- A = 4.0
- AB = 3.5
- B = 3.0
- BC = 2.5
- C = 2.0
Course Grade Calculation = Grade Variable Earned (From A - C) x Credit Unit (CU)
Repeat the Course Grade Calculation process for other courses
Semester GP Calculation = Total Course Grade divided by Total Credit Unit (CU) = Semester Grade PointAdd each semester Grade Point (GP) and divide by the total semester. For example;
400 Level First Semester - 3.00
400 Level Second Semester - 3.40
C.G.P.A = 3.00 + 3.40 = 6.40
C.G.P.A = 6.40 / 2 Semesters
C.G.P.A.= 3.2

Buy Your Textbooks Early
Purchase your academic textbooks as soon as your school releases the list. While this may mean you buy handouts you will need, for early course acquaintancy.
