Heat up 1 qt (946 ml) of peanut oil in a pot or deep fryer

Heat the oil up to approximately 375 degrees F (190 C) in a deep fryer. Use the medium-high setting to heat the oil on the stovetop. Use vegetable oil instead of peanut oil if you can’t find peanut oil.
